Exercise mania

Elaine and I are determined to loose weight.

On Tuesday, we went for and then straightaway

It was okay la.Badan didn't sakit that much. but knee a bit pain.

Tomorrow we're going for and then straight to class.

Lets just hope we can make it.

anyways, i always take the longer road to go back to Kepong from Kuchai Lama.I always always forget to turn into jalan duta and will go to Jalan Kinabalu and reach like Parlimen there -_-"

owh wells, i've been singing my lungs out in the car nowadays. LIKE really very loud!super loud music. If you listen from outside, my car would sound like an Ah-Beng Car. Hhahahaha.

Busy woman i tell you!







Gym was so-so today. SECOND and LAST personal training session. She made me do more machines and stuff. But no more Naquinn (my PT) after today! After the session, she went on telling me the PT packages!

1 session RM130 (per hour)

O_o

10+1 sessions RM1150 (discounted rate)

25+5 sessions RM2652 (discounted rate)

being a personal trainer and a clinical psychologist (in malaysia) is almost the same.

• Personal trainer gets paid RM130 an hour

• Psychologist gets paid RM150 an hour

LIKE, wtf! all that studying, research, masters, PHD, training sessions, amount of money paid just to be competent enough, not to mention we are also making sure of the mental health of the people is ok and we get paid RM20 more than a Fitness First PT (ok, so they make sure the physical health of people is ok) ? and all you need to be a PT is just a fit body and probably no body fat?

Tomorrow i'll be doing Cardio early in the morning at 8am. heehee. I hope i can wake up....must bring less clothes tmr. must fit all in a backpack! Cos i have class at 10 the CSS. hahaha. I have been using this HUGE bag. I bring like 2 towels and at least 2 t shirts in case one doesn't go with my bottom (it really doesn't matter, cos i only wear jeans and jeans skirt all the time).






wah, its so late already. I should pack, read chapter 2 and sleep. Owh, i must wrap my book also. but i don't have tape and wrapping plastic. haha.

3rd year? really?

First day of summer 2007.

My third year officially begins.

most of my friends from the land of kangaroos would be graduating.

I'll be only in my third year in a 4 year course!

thats for bumming half a year, and starting ADP all over again! hahahha.

owh well, CIMP was so much fun, its like skipping a year to go have fun. Not forgetting how it made me so much confident in scoring in exams and doing well. *smiles*

I'm overall happy la with my results. (WHAT HAPPENED TO ME RIGHT??? being happy over 3B's!!!!)

like usually, i will get all bummed over B's. Now, I'm happy that i got B and i was hoping for a B.

so must go gym bersungguh-sungguh! like every other day. So that can loose weight.

Goal: loose weight by December 2007.

Plan: cardio/GXclass every other day. Weights also in between.

I hope the plan works. I NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT. I'm so fat/heavy its not funny anymore.

Personal training was fun! i mean, i don't mind someone telling me, "come on karen, go on, you can do it, a little bit more....come on...." everytime i hit the bike/threadmill. hahahha.

Owh well, i will have to stick to my own will power personal training. hahahhaha. no money to get a PT.

next sem's going to be hard, i mean, most of my first sem friends would be leaving. UIU friends also will be leaving very soon. I'll probably be a loner again. but hey, Elaine's still here! until the end of the year...

i'm now trying to convince my parents to allow me to take a semester off to work and travel in the USA. Heehee. i mean, they just need to provide me with a semester's amount of money and tada, i can go work in the USA...

checked out the website, apparently, Paul Jambunathan is their consultant, and my mum knows him!!! muahahha.

If elaine doesn't want the layout, i will put it here on my blog. heehee. I downloaded a template of the cupcake and sprinkled and iced it myself. ahhahaa.

i miss baking. i wil probably bake cuppies for the ADPSC party. heehee. i feel so left out of ADPSC cos i never went for meeting. haha. what kind of ex-president is this man!But i was just too caught up in my own world to go for meetings and what nots.

I need to get back being "active".

but then again, i've been concentrating on getting experiences working than wanting to be active in college. I guess i'm done with being active, now on to the gaining experience part?

but as much as i love getting the money from my internship with emmagem, i'd rather study than work+study. its tiresome and yea, a lot of responsibility. candie.

I think i need to stop thinking and start enjoying life.

Socialite

Today Elaine and I got the taste of what Celebs/socialites in Malaysia do. haha.

ok, i will sound very jakun in the next few paragraphs, bare with me...hahahha. It is not always i go to events like this, in fact, this is my first. so jakun like gila la.

We went for a Charity Auction by Kerastase. Held at Zeta Bar, Hilton KL. The place was pretty awesome. I wouldn't mind going there again:) heehee.

omg, we were treated like so nice. heehee. signed the guest book, people ushering you to make sure you're okay. The cameraman with this HUGE DSLR took my picture behind the Kerastase Backdrop. I felt like a super socialite. hahahhaa. I got a goodie bag filled with a Keratase Shampoo and Moisturizer. *beams*

Went in and whoaaa..like a different world. So many socialites, celebs, media....pretty pretty people in pretty dresses! Drank free flow of Champagne, Wine-white and red, little finger foods, strawberry fondues, chocolate with brandy. yumsss..

ok, haha, for the main purpose of the event.

Keratase and the designers Donna Chew, Beatrice Looi and Zang Toi collaborated and is trying to raise fund for UNICEF. So they donated their pieces and people who came today did a silent bid on the clothes. For the past few months, they were also selling these little environmental-friendly grocery bags at Kerastase Salons. They raised quite a lot of money. i think about RM30000.

I bought one of those bags too. for RM10 by donation. haha. sorry la, i'm only a student living with measly amount of pay. Somemore must pay parking fee-RM14!!!candiecutthroatandhangself.com. anyways, We didn't stay long also, because the parking ticket would cost a bomb! We left before the announced the winning bid.

The people: Elaine Daly, Syafinaz, MODA president dunno who, Anya Hindmarch retail rep, Serena C, Joyce Kinkybluefairy, William Quah who was the MC, and many many people you would see at the Malaysia Tatler Magazine. HAHAHHAHA. I was so lost before Elaine came. like omg, i felt so out, although, i was dressed to kill. muahhahahahha. okla, i just wore my killer red cocktail dress. heehee. So we didn't do much "writer" work. Just got the press release and went back. We were too shy and scared to network and chat. First time la. (in the words of Elaine) chill! :) We need to collect some guts and start socializing.

if i can do this every week and just cover events like this, i don't mind being a journalist. HAHA. but, such glamour jobs are so hard to find.

owh well, back to normal life after we left Zeta Bar.

Went to Bangsar Village II later to walk around. We entered some shops thinking about what to write about it for emmagem. haha. we work day and night nowadays. such workaholics. Theres this one shop, T-joue that sells quite nice stuff for cheap price...go check it out!:)

We had dinner at Marmalade. This place is super cute!:) The place is awesome too. Reviews at our (Elaine and I) food blog that we're going to start soon:)
