altho im NOT..NOT a shopoholic....i still like reading their posts...they are all super rich and buys ALOT of stuff!

so today i went to SJMC hospital to visit my uncle who went for Chemotheraphy. i SO din wanna go. but i had too...so yeah i went and to see every patient there is so sad-ening...my uncle who was SO fat last time, is now so thin. i watched him put the needle and go through the Chemo and flushing and all. he has pankreas cancer and it has spread to his liver. so its kinda hard for him to eat. the guy next to my uncle's chair (in the chemo day ward, they only give them a chair which can be opened to sleeping position) has nose cancer...and he's only 31 years old. so sad huh...but he's s energetic as he could walk around all by himself, but my uncle can't.
so i was there the whole day, listening to my radio on phone and read Amy Tan's Bonesetter's Daughter. then suddenly i heard a loud cry. it was a cry from a four year old kid who has stomach cancer. poor kid. he din wanna get injection.. he was like crying "Daaadddddd, i dowaaaannnn..." (in tamil) i think he came out in the newspapers asking for donation as his family couldn't afford to pay for the medical expenses. according to my uncle's neighbour guy, his name is Pravin. poor pravin.
sitting there for the whole day is kinda scary. it makes you think about your existence here on earth now.
*sigh*
my family has history for cancer. my mum's side. My Grandfather had cancer, now my uncle. i have a high chance of getting it too.*touch wood*
i almost slept while driving back from hospital today! i was so sleepy!
hehe..
oh well, wat a sad post...
